Poncho headlight question

Well i finally fixed my headlights last summer and they worked great but now the drivers side comes up faster than the passenger side. And now when i turn on my parking lights the headlights flip up but dont turn on. Why is this? is it a problem in the switch? I should be able to have my parking lights on with my headlights down. Whats goin on???

The headlight headlight repair kit I sell will solve teh problem. Read the instructions and you'll get an idea of what is involved in repairing them. I need to update the instructions. Ignore the part about marking the large nylon gear to keep track of the orientation. It is not necessary.

I hope this answers your question. You can do a search on this topic, it has been covered in depth many times previously. Juat be aware that there was a different headlight actuator used from 1982-86 than is used on your car (1987-92). Often it is the relays or switch that are the problem with the early style. On the '87-92 it is most commonly the hard gel inserts inside the large nylon gear that are the problem. Repairing them with the Delrin bushings in my kit will be a permanent solution to the problem.
