turn signal, windows -> slow
I noticed that the el. gauge didn't show the right voltage ( approx. 10V) when i drove into a parking lot and the turn signal was really slow. Also the power windows are moving slow.
After an hour I started as usual, no problems. only the gauge was on ~10V and the accessoires worked still slow. I had to drive with the headlights on because it is now night in europe
still no problem and the gauge readings was all the way the same!
Any suggestions what the problem could be? (Battery was changed a few weeks ago)
Thanks for the input
Pat

Sounds like the generator is not charging. Output when charging is between 13.5-14.9 volts. At 10 you are running off the battery and it's getting low. You need to service the charging system.

could it be that the outgoing alternator is making some noise?
I have some strange noise like a ghost witch is rpm dependent... so i assume this noise must come from a belt driven accessoire.

Alternator heading south. The noise is more or less the bearings as usual.
The 730 TPI usually wont run on a voltage lower than 10.5v and beyond. Get a testor and test the battry while its runing and after you have cut if off.
