wiper motor

Ok trickster and friends, i got one for you my window wiper motor will come on and have a high and low speed, but will not time delay, or shut off when you shut the wipers off, any clue on what would cause this

This sounds like the problem I had with my S15, the wipers are probably similar. For the truck it was bad solder connection on the PCB inside the wiper itself. It's an easy fix if you or a friend can solder. Check the connections at the harness jack and motor connector and check for and open trace at the relay. You'll see what I'm talking about when you open it up.
