rear defroster

well it was raining the other night and i was driving home and as soon as i got in the car the rear window fogged up. since i bought the car a couple of months ago i havent had to use the defroster, and then when i turned the switch on nothing happend. how do i find out what the problem is, and how do i fix it? oh its a 92 z28 by the way.

Car: 1993 Nissan 240sx
Engine: Turbo KA24DE
Transmission: 5 spd
Axle/Gears: 4.08 VLSD
First logical steps would probably be to check the connections at the window-struts and the struts-body. Then look at the defroster paths and make sure none are cracked/cut/seperated/melted/replaced with string.

If you still cant find the problem (voltage meter?) then you may want to check the switch connections, and then the intermediate wiring.




But before you do any of that, check the fuse.
