Mallory 6852m installed and works great but no CARB # WTF?????

Mallory 6852m installed and works great but no CARB # WTF?????
LIke the title states I have installed the mallory ignition box and it works great, but the ignition box did not come with a CARB # and I live in california so this is a problem. does anyone know any loop holes or anything I can do to get them to let me pass? I have yet to smog it but i need to and I dont want to throw my money away. so what should I do?? HELP

call up Mallory and ask them for the sticker, if the unit is 50 state legal.

I was on the california air resources board and this product doesnt have a carb # at least in thier database.

If it's like an MSD 6AL, can't you run the car without it? Do so for smog, hook it back up afterwards.
