Has anyone ever used this. If so, how does it hook up?

Nothing fancy, just an overpriced 99c automotive relay.
If you have some electrical experience, you will know how to hook it up (regular 5-prong hookup). If you don't, leave it to the pro's. You dont' want to burn your car down.
You can get automotive relays here for a very reasonable price: http://mcm.newark.com/NewarkWebComme...SKU=26-534&N=4

There is a switch on the back of the A/C control panel. It is wired in parallel with the fan thermal switch. It supplies a ground to the electric fan relay when ever the AC is on MAX or NORM to turn on the fan. No need for another relay!!!

So this relay is to be used in conjunction with a car already equipped with an electric fan? (I'm trying to swap from clutch to stock dual electric).

Sorry James,
Didn't mean to confuse you. My reply was meant for someone with a factory electric fan, which already has this relay (no need to add an extra).
Since you are upgrading from a mech fan, you will need some kind of relay.
This is just a standard 12 volt automotive relay that PermaCool is reselling at marked up price (that’s what BB Lou is saying).
