Electric Door lock trouble

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1989 Camaro V6 car with power door locks. The people I got the car from said they unhooked them because they would lock and unlock by themselves with the ignition on and off and during the night it would drain the battery. I have no idea how they did it, but i would like for them to work again. Thanks

You might have a popup blocker turned on, the link opens a new window.
If not then try the TGO home page and go to the Technical Articles, then under the Electrical section lookup the 86 Wiring Diagrams.

after you get it hooked back up and if it does what the people says it does try unhooking one switch then the other, I work at a pontiac dealer and had a car do the exact sme thing because a switch went bad, just a suggestion.

Thanks. Can the switch be unhooked without going into the door? I didnt get a chance to go down to the garage last night. So i didnt trace my wires yet.

yeah you can ucan take it off without taking the whole panel off, all you need to take off is the black trim around the handle where the switch actually is.
