hatch and lighting
1st question
I have a 92 rs, does the hatch switch have constant power all the time? mine does, I do not need to have the ignition on in order to open my hatch, is this normal?
2nd question
Since we cant access the archives, on the gauge panel/headlight switch circuit is there a transitor of some sort under the dash? My headlight switch is brand new, it works but I still do not have gauge/ dash panel lights. What am I missing? I had read in the archives a while back that there was a transitor in a heat sheild but I do not see it. i think that may be where my problem is but does any one have a pic of it?
any help, will help thanks guys

Yes I can help you with that second question, the transistor that you have heard about is known as the remote dimmer module and is only found in the firebirds.
