Turn Signals Won't Flash, Replaced Everything

Alright, working on a 88 Iroc with an LO3. Neither of the turn signals will flash but the 4-Way flashers work. I've replaced so far: all of the turn signal light bulbs, the flasher, and the column switch. What is left to do?? I currently have the column apart because I don't want to reassmble until I know they will work. Would this cause them not to flash? I would think not but thought I should ask anyway. How would I go about testing the wiring for a short? I assume they short must be right after the flasher because it causes both directional signals not to work not just one side. Any advise would be helpful. Did a search but it didn't provide any answers.
Thanks

There are 2 flashers...one for the hazards and one for the turn signals. The one for the turn signals should be under the drivers kick panel and on the right of the column. It is just hanging in there on a separate harness.

As Lo-Tec has said there is a turn signal flasher clipped to the right side of the steering column under the dash. One thing that you have not mentioned changing or checking is the "TURN B/U" fuse on the fuse panel.

I found the problem. It turns out there was a second flasher located directly above the convence center all by itself. The relay behind the driver side kick panel is the starter relay. The flashers are exactly the same in case anyone wanted to know.
Thanks for the help,

I have this problem too, I know this thread is over 5 months old, but maybe you can help. Did you figure it out?
