Damn hi beams
Im having a problem where when i try to turn on my hi beams the turn signal lever doesnt click or even try to. The turn signals will turn on but you gotta try kinda hard. Is there some switch inside the column that should be replaced. It wont pass inspection again unless its fixed.

Check the rod going to the dimmer switch which is located above the ignition switch (not the lock cylinder) on the steering column under the dash.

I have this same problem. Do you have any pics of the rod that you are talking about?
Edit: I found it but thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I figured out that my turn signal lever wasnted seated right and the switch in the column wasnt mounted properly so i went in and screwed it down and adjusted the lever and it works now. I thought i was going to have to replace the switch inside the column. Thanks
