i'm trying to swap a tpi maf setup in my 91 formula.I have a harness out of a maf car but the only problem that i can see is that the big harness that connects to the firewall on the driver side seems to not be present in the new harness.Would a painless kit be a better way to go or not. I'm not trying to find the quickest or easiest but the best way. Any input would be helpful

 

Your best route would have been to check out the TBI to TPI repinning thread in the TPI section. There are two threads in the tech section that deal with this, be sure to check those out. Mike Davis' site has a lot of helpfull information that is linked in those articles.
