Oil Pressure sensor wiring
I'm in the process of swapping a out a 305 TPI for a carb'd 400 in an 87 T/A and am trying to eliminate all the wires I don't need, I found a white wire which I believe is the wire for the oil pressure sensor but then it runs into a plug that also has a green wire coming into it and then the green wire runs back through the wiring harness, Will I just need to cut the plug off and splice the white and green wires together??
thanks for any help

i would reccommend cutting anything, i would hook everything up like you were putting the LO3 back in then go from there once you get it running, alls i no is that i tried doing my wiring before i knew exactly wat i was doing and i ended up needing a new wiring harness. i would just make sure you know what is whhat before splicing/cutting. i know that the wires get annoying/frustratiing/tedious, but just take your time with it. as for the white and green wires, ill check today in my service manual

The best and easiest way I can think to do it is to wire a 12V switched to the power wire, leave the wire going into the C100 bulkhead connector and then cut the wire for power out, unless you have an odd use for it.
