Rear end Swap, 3.42's, need speedo Info
Okay guys, I took my 91 Firebird peg leg 3.08 drum braked rear end out, and threw in a 86 3.42 posi, rear disk rear end in. Now obvously my speedo is off, so I said well no biggy just go pull the speed sensor off the other car wrong . The other car had a cable and mine is electronic. BTW the donor car was a 2.8 V6 and mine is a 5.0. So now I come to the problem of where to get this sensor from. So any help will be apprishiated. Now another question, don't burn me on this one because I can't find a real solid answer but I am going to be doing a 350 swap in the near future. I have a 305 TBI and would like to keep the TBI, so I hear you can pull the chips out of Caprices or trucks. Now will these ECU's plug right in or do I just need the chip or what? Any quick answers will also be apprishiated.
