firebird headlight wiring discovery
I wanted to share with you guys a little something I learned this past week. I'm swapping almost everything from an 88 firebird into my 84 TA, but wanted to keep my 84 headlights because the motors work very well. As you may have seen from wiring diagrams, they changed the headlight motors and went to a solid state process somewhere around 1985.
Anyway, I used the entire headlight wiring harness from my 84 and plugged it into the bulkhead of the 88 engine harness and everything worked perfectly. I also like that the earlier headlight wiring doesn't require the bulky square solid state module that's mounted next to the wiper motor, so it looks cleaner. Noone will probably find this usefull right now, but i figure it'll be here incase anyone searches this topic in the future
