I have an 89 Firebird with a Vortec supercharger. I love my cruise for long trips and late nights at the bar. The problem I'm running into is when it is on, it causes the car to surge every time it tries to speed the vehicle up. I know it is a long shot, but does anyone know it the sensitivity can be adjusted or have advice on another mod to it?

I have a '83 Z28 with a 305. Car has been sitting for about 5 years. I first started driving it a year ago and cruise worked fine for a while. Last month it started acting up. Could not be set, jerked and surged at speed when it could be set and the last time I tried it, set to 70 surged down to 55 then the car accelerator went to the floor well past 85. Hit brakes to cancel around I guess 95. Figured it would drop sooner or later...I was wrong. If you figure it out...please let me in. As will I to you.
