I am needing a relay to provide ground all the time until relay is activated and then ground removed when I flip a toggle switch. I know this sounds weird but this is what I need. The relay has 5 pins. Is there a way to just use a negative pulse on the input side and output side but use a positive to trigger the relay. I'm thinking that I need to use the normally closed pin and then just let it open. Is this anywhere near right?

If you have a switch or an alarm or keyless entry that has a negative output that you wish to use to switch a device that requires 12V+ such as a horn, dome light, parking lights, head lights, hatch release, etc., wire a relay as shown below to convert the negative output (trigger) to a positive output.
