craziest electrical problem I have ever seen in a 3rd gen
The other day I final got around to firing up my new engine and while I was at it, I checked all lights in case I wanted to go for ride. Well, listen to this mess, I turned the lights on along with the foglight switch and all I got was the low beams(very dull), no foglights(may be blown) and the RH marker and blink lights. The back lights work fine. I thought I had some blown bulbs so I went back into the car and messed with the highbeams and stuff. Well, I noticed that the little green light on the foglight switch wasnt on. The only way it would turn on was to push the headlight switch in half way. Then the green light came on and I also got the LH marker and blink lights to turn on. If I pulled the headlight switch all the way out again, I would loose the foglight switch light and the LH markers
Then I messed with the highbeams again and my car suffers from the dreaded loose rod/bolts stuff and i have to tilt my column all the way up to get the bights on/off. Anyway, after screwing with this for a while, it all of a sudden just fixed itself. Now granted my car is a on going project on jackstands and I havent really used the car in a 2 years but what gives here?
