Transmission: 700R4 BM 2500 stall
Axle/Gears: 3.73 Zexel torque sensing Posi
retro vats in 87 str. column in 91 formula

I've got 91 Formula w/ VATS. Column has the wobbles; will the VATS lockcyl and it's wiring fit in an 87 formula column both are tilt?

don't know about the vats tumbler but the wiper switch wiring is different, so you will need to put your formulas wiper switch and wiring int the other column to

The lock cylinder will fit although it might be a little snug, Since you don't seem to be swapping out the wiper switch it shouldn't be a problem here, but as Jproz1167 has mentioned, the wiper (multifunction lever) switch did change in 1990. The wiring became shorter among other things.

I'm not clear; is it possible to put the 91 switch in the 87 column? Does it make more since to repair the 91 column. This is not a pressing problem yet, just looking gather info. never had to work on the column before. Thanks for your time and input.
