Have an 88 thru 92 car? Help out! AC related!
I've just had a new AC system installed and the compressor is cutting off way too early. I'm fairly sure that the high pressure cut-off switch is the wrong one (it's the white top).
What I want to know is - which is the correct colored top to use? If nothing else - chime in and tell me what color yours is!
...it's the 2 prong connector on the back of your AC compressor. simply unplug it and tell me what color the top of the switch is...then plug yours back in.
Thanks!

Just an update: the white one I have seems to be working fine. So far I've seen:
White, Red, Black, Blue, and Green.
Oh well. Just in case anybody searches:
The Blue and Green are identical switches, just different parts that are NORMALLY OPEN.
The White and Red are also identical switches (GM updated) that are NORMALLY CLOSED. Also, the white switch's specs are OPEN at 200, CLOSE at 430.
