Engine: Stock 305 TBI

Transmission: Stock

Hot wires

How do I find some wires that are hot off the battery only when the ignition is on? My ignition wire died, any idea how to change that? It goes into a block like thing, and through the firewall.

What ignition wire? Do you mean the one from the ignition switch in the column?
