Remote Power window idea?

I have 2 questions. Is there a way to make the power windows work when the key is not in the run position? If there is which I am sure theres a way.
Is there any electronic mastermind that can create a way to make a remote power window. I think it would be cool to be able to get out of my car with the windows down and as I am walking away roll them up.
Just an idea. any suggestions.

I really want to know how to power the windows with the car off though.

Ehh, power up isn't safe becuase if anything is in the way it would cause some damage or injury. Power up is easy enough, time delay relay on a remote control.

lol you confused me a little there can you explain a little more? What could be in the way? if the car is off and no one is in it, it is just as dangerous as reg. power windows.

A kid walking by or dog or something. Even if it's a thief, they get hurt, they sue you. It could be you leaning in the car and accidently hitting the button on the door.
They make widow roll up modules that current sense so if something is in the way they stop. Do it right.

Yeah, but if you are pressing the button you can let go as soon as there is a problem. With auto up you have no choice but to wait for the timer to run out. Could result in pinched fingers or worse, and that definitely wouldn't be good for the motor.

as pointed out above im pretty sure you wouldnt want to make a window rollup module based off a timer
they should sense the power draw and shut themselves off... like.. your popup headlamps
