so im curious if anyone can help me...

i have a stock 88 TPI wireing harness and want the speedo to work..so I was told to get the yellow filter box from a 91-92 camaro or a 86 or newer firebird.

well i got one from a 87 firebird with a v6 FI and so i was wondering how i can connect it into my harness, i believe it should go inbetween the speedo and the ecm

vss purple to connector 1 pin c on box
vss yellow to connector 1 pin a on box

pink/black on box connector 2 pin h to gauges fuse (10a)
brown on box connector 2 pin f to ecm input a10 connector 1
brown on box connector 2 pin c to speedo
red on box connector 2 pin e to cruise
blk/white on box connector 2 pin a to ground

this is how im supposed to wire it it, but im unshure about the inputs already going into my ecm from my vss, do i cut the wires and put them through the yellow box then to the ecm or should i just leave my ecm wireing alone and just tap into the 2 wires from the vss to goto the yellow box/filter then to the speedo?

I just dont know, if somone could give me some help on this that would be great, thanx.
