Electrical Smell In 1989 Camaro

Hi

Im thinking about purchasing a 89 Camaro I looked at today But It has a burning electrical type of smell when your driving. It does not seem to do it when its sitting still and running but after your going and stop its very strong.

I Dont know alot of the details on the newer 3rd Gens and would like to know if there are common things that go bad in these cars and have this result. I think maybe it could be the radio but it seems to work fine. I just dont want to buy it and have it catch on fire.

Thanks
-Michael

Check plug wires on headers, or any of that wire loom under the hood. Also see if the motor for the radiator fan is spinning when it should.

OK Ill put that on my list of what to look at when I go look at the car again. I did not smell it under the hood after I parked it. It was very strong in the car and near the under side of the dash I think.

EEP that could be bad. Not much under there that can fry and keep the car working well. I've no idea.
