'89 Firebird side marker light bulb
Hi all,
Stupid question, but how do I change the bulb in my recently-acquired (and thoroughly awesome) '89 Firebird's passenger-side side marker light? There's no screws and it doesn't look like there's a way in from the inside... funny that the first thing that should flummox me on this car is something so small. The Haynes manual is also, sadly, of no use with this fix.
Any help would be appreciated!

dont know if youre talking about the front or rear side marker light but here's advice for both.
Front- get underneath the car below the side light in front. reach up and twist the connector to the side light off. Should be about a 1/4 turn to twist off.
Rear- Take off the panel where the spare tire/jack are. Twist connector off.

Depending upon the ground effects installed, you may have to remove the fasteners from teh outer baffle and flex it downward slightly to get better access to the lamp housing.
Grab some 194 lamps for replacements.

Figured it out. And yesterday, it needed a headlight replacing (which thankfully was nice and easy). Funny, I've had to replace four different lights - three bulbs and the sealed headlight unit - on the car in the two months or so I've had it... other than that, I'm loving the car and still using every excuse I can think of to drive it.
Although now the oil pressure gauge doesn't want to work. D'oh!
