I know that hundreds of people have done what I am doing right now, and that I shouldn't have to ask this question. Yet, after searching the board I cannot figure out if all HEI distributors have the pink and white wires that I need to hook up the coil and tach. I was looking at some on Jegs and summit that appeared to have 3 wires and none of them were white. What distributor do I need to go from cc carb to non cc carb. I'm on a VERY TIGHT budget.

 

You need a distributor with mechanical advance weights and cam plate. The electrical portion is easy.
