the other day i was getting some food and my car over heated while in the dt lane. i shut it off and when i got my food went to start it but it wouldnt start. so i pushed it out of the way popped the hood and realized that the person who recently painted my car didnt retighten the battery. so i did that and it fired right up....but after that a bunch of my electrical stopped working. what would have caused this and how can iget it all back. guessing how fast im going will only work for so long also the car is an 88 GTA with the digital dash. hopefully someone can help me on this. thx

Start by verifying grounds (under fresh paint?), fusible links, and fuses.
