Bypass Vats
Ok I did a different bypass than the one is tech. I just grounded the wire from the vats to the starter relay(I thinkt hats what it is right behind the left kick panel.) and I grounded it from the relay, and it was working but I guess it keeps draining my battery cuz my battery is dead....I don't know if I'll have to do that other resistor bypass...but would my method cause it to drain the battery?

Could you tell me more about this, my wiring is f!cked up and the resistor deal doesnt seem to work for me. What wires did you ground. And the relay your talking about is the start enable relay. I would like to do what you have done and use a toggle switch to operate it.

I don't think it would cause a drain through the starter unless you hooked into the wrong wire. I looked through the schematics and the proper wire to ground would be a black wire with a yellow stripe. Even if that's what you grounded, the key would have to be in START and the gearshifter in PARK or NEUTRAL for the starter and/or solenoid to get power. Of course, if you tied into the wrong wire, anything's possible.
I believe the power door lock relay is in that area, but that wouldn't help with car starting. I'm a bit lost as well without more info.
