bright lights

ive been having a problem with my brights or the switch that controls them that is getting progressively worse.

every time i want to turn on my brights i have to tilt the wheel up and pull back on the lever that activates them and then tilt the wheel back down



any help would be appreciated

GM tilt steering columns really do suck. Well... remove the cover panel under the column closest to the steering wheel. I think it's something like T25 screws, but I'm not sure at the moment. After you get the panel off, look along the left side of the column. There will be a metal wire about 0.15" in diameter. This goes from the Headlight lever down to the actual switch for LOW/HIGH. The Low/High switch is either loose or is failing. It slides toward & away from the Headlight lever. You'll need to adjust it for best operation and then tighten it down.
