Car keeps on stalling on me

over the last couple of days my car's been stalling on me at low speeds and slow turning. i loose my tach, speedo, and the security light comes on. at first i thought it was an ignition switch but i also loose the memory to my radio deck. when i went to check the battery i found out that the shop that put my interstate battery in left it in the plastic wrap and didn't put the holding bracket on right so the battery was loose and bouncing around. i took the plastic off and held the battery in place correctly but the problem seems to still exist and is getting worse. visually the two ground straps to the battery appear to be fine. i have a fairly stiff suspension so could all of the vibrations and bouncing around have killed the battery? i'm having enough problems dealing with my intake and exhaust manifold leaks so this problem really isn't making me too happy right now. any help or sugestions are reallly apreciate, thankx.

Same thing happened to one of my friends with a 91 V6 Camaro. It was a wire that ran from the battery distribution block along the backside of the radiator. Loose connection.

well it turns out that the battery wasn't completely disconnected from the system, i still had headlights and the hood light. upon closer inspection one of my fusible links had melted and over time become brittle. i had to rig it so it would make it home but tomorrow i think i'll go ahead and replace all of the fusible links just to be safe. my boss at work said that these fusible links like to go on chevy's alot and while they don't control everything they control alot of things.
