Conflicting headlamp circuitry
To make a long story short, my passenger headlamp motor stopped working right, so i found a new one via the classifieds here on tgo. So, like an idiot, when the dude said he was sending me a 2 wire motor like I need, I believed him. Thusly, it ended up being a 82-86 three wire motor.
So I reconnected the shells to accomodate the grey and green wire, but left the blue wire hanging. I understand that the blue wire is supposed to go to some "Isolation circuit," and I learned the result of ignoring it is, that the lamp will deploy when i switch the lights off, and then never go back down (under its own power). I'm sick of running around with the headlights up when the lamps aren't on.
So does anyone know how I could integrate the 3 wire system into my 88 circuitry?

Was this just such a stupid question that response was not worthwhile? Or does nobody have any ideas?
Here is an alternate question, would I be able to replace the brush kit from the older version electric motor, with this?

I ended up figuring out how to repair the original motor. So it works fine now.
