I get nothing when I turn the Key!!

I'm having a problem with my '88 IROC. When I turn the key to on there is no power, no dome light, no nuthin'! The battery is only 3 mos old. Has anyone run into this before? Could this be the starter solenoid? Please HELP!!

Axle/Gears: bunch of 10 bolts how scary is that
Start cheap have the battery checked and see if theres any loose cables to your battery.

Have you checked the voltage at the battery or the condition of the fusible links to the starter solenoid. Even new batteries have been known to go bad and if it is bad then you might want to look at having the alternator tested as well. BTW, the dome light should come on when you open the door and not when you turn the key to the "ON" position. If it doesn't then the bulb is missing, burned out, has a bad circuit, or the battery is "FUBAR"
