Check the fuse first. If that's good, does the motor make ANY sound at all? If not, pull the door panel off and use a multimeter to check each connector. If you've got power there, you can narrow it down to:
A)Bad motor
B)Bad switch
C)Dirty contactors in the switch
If it does make noise, the motor's bad, or (correct me if i'm wrong, which I may be) whatever mechanism that rolls the windows up and down may be stuck.
I discovered the hard way (with manual windows) that there was an old "For Sale" sign that had slid down in the door.

Get a multimeter and check each wire. You'll need a a schematic for your electric window system, probably available in a hanes manual. It will show you which wire should supply power, ground, and also if your wired up correctly. If you want to know if your switch is bad, read across it with it switched on, should read low resistance ( set meter to read resistance, ohms, should read (.OL) on meter face ) then switch it to off, should read (.OL). If it doensn't change from .OL the entire time you have a bad switch. Also, be sure the wires are disconnected from the switch while you read it, it will give you screwed up resistance readings if you don't. You would more than likely have to contact the window motor manufacturar to get the schematic for the internals on it, probably to much of a PITA, I dont think motors are super expensive anyway. Here's a thread on wiring in a power window module from DEI. It has a schematic of the power windows:
