lost the tach and voltage

Engine: 84 - 305 CARB 91 - 305 TPI
Transmission: 84 - 700r4
lost the tach and voltage
hmmmm I installed the new stereo int my 84 z-28 HO yesterday and now my tach and voltage guages are not working .....anyone have any idea what might have caused this to happen .....i have installed many stereos before and this is the first time anything like this has happened
any help would be appreciated

turned out to be a bad contact in the fuse box.........pulled and repalced all fuses ....now works great
