wiper motor converion.

I have an 85 Berlinette, and today that intermittent wiper motor control board **** the bed on me. I have a parts car, an 86 firebird with intermittent wipers. The board on that car is very different from mine. In fact, I'm beginning to wonder whether or not the berlinetta wiper control board is unique. I was wondering whether or not it was possible to use the firebird motor/circuit board with som creative wiring.

I've seen a lot of different types of wiper motors installed on ThirdGen cars over the years and have never seen a "Berlinetta Style" wiper motor installed in any other car. That's not to say that they weren't,......... but I've owned over 25 ThirdGen cars and I have never seen it !

Have you tried to swap the original Berlinetta wiper motor with the one from the 86 Bird ??? As long as there is enough clearance for it to mount I would assume that both motors use the same number of wires and the swap would work as long as the correct plug was spliced into place. ( I've never tried it !! )

P.S. I've got a completely functional Berlinetta wiper motor for sale. Send me an E-Mail if your interested ------>
