VSS wire?

anyone know where the VSS wire would be on a 91 z28? trying to tap my navigation into it and i don't have the manual with me this weekend? if anyone knows the color and approximately where it runs through that would be great!

I don't know what your set-up was prior to your engine conversion but here are the color codings and the way the wires were run. The wires are purple and yellow and for a VIN T,F, & 8 they ran straight to the ECM pins "B10" & "B9" through the passenger side bulkhead from the VSS in the transmission. If you had the VIN E, the wire colors were the same but were routed through pins "D4" and "E4" of connector C100 on the drivers side bulkhead. They then ran to pin "A" & "C" of the VSS buffer under the dash on the passenger side, there are five other wires going from the buffer. Pink/black goes to gage fuse, brown goes to ECM, tan goes to instrument panel, red goes to cruise control module, & black/white is ground.
