vats problem.......help please

I just got done with a engine swap. I put a v-8 tbi from a 89 camaro in a 85 camaro. I changed the wiring harnesses on the engine and under the dash. I bought a new ignition cylinder and key w/chip and a new vats module, so the module would read the new chip in the key. but it wont turn over or anything.
the gauges come on, but wont crank. Should I disconnect the battery and reset the ecm or what???? Please help, this is getting frustrating to the point I want to blow my car up.

Thanks in advance for any advice on this problem.

Personally I'd bypass VATS until I get the engine running. Just one less thing to worry about.

I found out it was the starter enable relay, it was missing, so Igot to go to the dealer on Monday and get one.
I used a fused jumper wire and it turned over.
I'm so happy right now

Take a wire with a fuse in it and connect it between pins "A" & "E" of the starter enable relay connector.

how do you no which ones a and e are if nothing is marked on the only thing i think may be it(relay) square black with four wires and you can take out a white pin and pull the fuse out with four gold colored connectors
