Need help with gauges!

Hi, I put in new overlays on my firebird, and messed up few gauges. My oil preassure gauge is a bit off, and my temp gauge is about 60 degrees off. One notch over 220 where it should be running at 180.
I know exactly where my gauges should be running but am not sure how to recaliblrate them.
Should I do it with the car on, or should I just wait and move them when the car is off???

Not exactly sure!

You should move them with the engine off and the battery disconnected.
