Testing power window motors?
I've just recently acquired a very nice 1991 Firebird. However, the power windows are not working on either side of the car. How do I check the motors without actually digging into the doors so that I can find out if it's the window motors or just the window switches that need replaced? Is it as easy as applying 12 volt power to one of the wires going to the switches or is there more to it?
TIA!
TIA!

Pink is hot
black is ground
dark blue is up window
brown is down window.
I would first check the pink wire with a multimeter and see if it is getting battery voltage with the key in the "ON" position.
