Need engine wiring help
I just bought a 88 camaro. Originally it had a manual and v6. Before i bought it someone had switched in a 98 model 350 and 700r4. The motor has been converted to carb and hei. None of the wiring is done right. The fuel pump comes on when the switch is on. The battery gauge and fuel gauge is the only ones that work. What do I need to get everything to work right? Do I just get the sending units for a 88 camaro and find the correct wires? Would that work for oil pressure and water temp? I know the tach will not read right but is there any way to fix that without buying the gauges from a v8? Also even the heater controls dont work. What could they have done that makes it not work? Thanks guys

I hope that it is just a blown fuse. But you could turn the fan switch on and the fan wouldnt come on. Who knows what is up with everything on it. I guess I ll just have to wing it.
