Distributer

What is the correct way to wire a 6al msd box, pro-billet distributer(#8361), and a blaster GM ignition coil(#8226).

Application is a 1989 chevrolet camaro. (5.7L engine MAF sensored - TPI, ecm #7165)

The reason I am asking this is because the stock distributer the car came with has a 4 wire (pin) connector going to it. The stock ignition coil had two wires going to it, one wire leading towards the tachometer. Yes, I'm sure. I realize it is simple to wire the 6al box to the distributer due to the special connector on each unit which mate together. But how would one wire those 4 incoming wires(4 pin connector) going to the distributer and the two wires going to the coil to the 6al box using this specific distributer? Would I even need the wires from this connector (4 pin) if all I'm doing is wiring 1 wire to an ignition source shown in the distributer instructions diagram in figure-13? Any answers will greatly help me out.

Thank you for your time,
Anthony

Ya... they have the diagram i'm talking about, but... what to do with the wires connecting to the distributer connector? They just say how to hook it up to a +12v ign. switch wire. Nothing about those other wires.

*EDIT

Ok, the distributer i have #8361 is a magnetic pickup hei distributer with the magnetic pickup connection which plusg directly into the msd 6al unit. With that being said... will it hurt to leave the other distributer wires disconnected?

The wires I'm reffering to are:

1) EST - wht
2) Reference - ppl/wht
3) Bypass - tan/blk
4) Distributer Ground - blk/red

Yes, I plan to use tpi. I've had the distributer lying around for a while and figured ide throw it in the camaro. Is it still possible to use it? Or should i go with another choice?

You need this one for TPI/TBI instead of what you have now...
