Its been over 2 months since I left my 91 Z28 to my mechanic. He did figure out why my z28 doesn't have '*****'. He discovered a very bad short that would connect to the distributor I believe. Then he tells me my ecm and prom are faulty. does someone know where I can get an ECM and prom???

Its a LB9 for those who know what dis means.

Or a local Junkyard. Only two 7mm bolts holds it in under the passenger side dash.

 

BOTH have failed? Hmmm...

 

Im afraid so... well, its the prom that keeps failing and I bought that damn thing new from the dealer

 

Can you tell me how he knows this?

 

My mechanic did figure out the short it had before. Thenhe tells me dat the ecm is causing my car not to have any *****. I dont know what he meant dat either my ecm or prom went bad. I have the original ecm, but he did tell me dat the prom got fried or something.
