I have a 87 camaro that had a LG4 305 4bll with the 700 R4. I need to figure out what wiring I can remove in order to clean up the engine compartment for this LS1 swap. I will be using a painless stand alone EFI LS1 harness with the 2001 computer. The main harness that exits the computer and runs through the passenger side inner fender to the engine compartment is all emmisions and engine control correct? What can I remove from that wiring mess and what do I need to keep? I will be using the factory gages but the painless harness should have the connections for the sensors and pickups. Anyone that has done this give me some advise so I don't screw anything up, the point is to keep the wiring clean and professional looking to be show worthy, thanks!
