I have a question. will my cruise control still work even though I have switched over to carb? its an 89 camaro. does the cruise work on only vaccum or does the computer tell it what to do. thanks

The cruise control performs its own math, based on the inputs. As long as the VSS is still connected, and the other wiring has not been altered, it should work just as before. Of course, it requires a vacuum source to actually move the servo.

EDIT: Thsi is assuming it is the '89 in your profile.
