im swapping my 2.8 to a 3.4 and while im doing this i need to fix my wiring harness due to the people that had the car before me decided cutting and splicing wires together was a good idea until the there was an electrical melt down. my car is an 88 camaro with a 2.8 v6 i have a wiring harness from a 91 camaro with a 3.1 . can i put the harness from the 91 3.1 in my 88 with the 2.8? i dont want to have to change anything just swap harnesses. will it work?

 

You need to get a look at the wiring schematic for both vehicles and study on what can go and what can stay.
