Ok I found it, it was there after all, just turned differently from the firebirds.
Ok I plugged the antenna wire into it and the antenna motor just runs and runs and runs and the antenna wont move.
Will one of the rebuild kits fix this problem of it running and not moving it?
Also I bought a factory antenna on ebay that says its for a firebird and camaro and it was new in its box. I tried to install it and the shaft is to short, wont reach the fender once mounted in factory spot.
Can I take the motors and swap them and that fix the problem or is it something else wrong that the rebuild kit will fix?

Fixed the antenna today.
The repair kit finally came in from GMpartsdirect yesterday. The wire was broken inside it. Put the new one in and the antenna works great.
