Multi Spark Discharge boxes
Hello everyone!!
I am new to the site and man this place is awesome!!
Okay now I have heard many different opinions on using a ignition box. I have heard they are the greatest thing but I have also heard if your ignition system is working good than you will get no real benefit from using a box which makes sense to me!
What are you guys take on these ignition boxes??
Thanks!!

i have the MSD boxes on all of my cars
i think they are awesome
i have always seen results, mainly in efficiency, meaning slightly better mpg's and easier starting
the jeep is the next one to get it
i think any of the boxes are a worthy improvement if you have started modifying, like adding turbo, blower, nitrous, bigger cam, heads, etc...
on a totally stock setup, ehhhh, hard to say if it's truly worth it, to me it is on an older ignition, but with the TPI's and later iginitions, maybe it's a mod that can wait

Thanks for the input Don 79 TA. Yeah I have a fairly modified engine in my Bird!! Of course it had the 305 TBI engine originally which I pulled and put a 500hp 408 ci engine in the car. I got rid of the computer and am running a HEI ignition now!! So from what you say I could probably benefit frrom a box?? Any big difference from a MSD box or an Accel box? All the rest of my ignition componets are Accel performance so I thought I would go with an Accel box!
Any imput is appreciated!!
Thanks!!
