Hello Matt,
Which radio system did you originally have in there, the standard radio or the Delco-Bose amplified system?

I have a similar problem with my radio. When I bought my camaro the memory presets would not save when i shut the car off. I pulled the radio and noticed it was put in place because of a aftermarket radio was more than likely in there before. My rpo code sheet says that the car came with a cd player u1c, but when I hook up the cd player it wont even power up. I hooked this cd player up to my other camaro that has the original tape deck in it and the cd player worked great. I tried the tape deck in the other camaro and no luck. Anyone know what would be going on here? Thanks

I would invest in a 'reverse harness'. Just drop by someplace that does car audio, tell them your story and tell them you want a reverse harness. What you get the a replacement "stock" harness, mach up colors, solder and heat shrink or good crimps and you're golden.
