dammaged CD player

I have a Pioneer Priemier cd player model DEH-59DH. It's a great player. cost me over $400.00! Some jerk *** decided he wanted to steal it . He didn't know what he was doing so he couldn't get it out of the console. He did however completly destroy my heater unit, the raido pod, and bent the raidos housing all to hell. I replaced the raido pod and heater controls and tryed to hook up the raido but she's dead.
I need to know if Pioneer does any repairs on their units? Or is there any other place I could send it to. I haven't found any one around here to fix it yet. Your help will be appreciated. JIM

Any car stereo shop that sells Pioneer should be able to fix it.

It's dead, no power at all. He tryed to pry it out with a screw driver and ripped the houseing wide open, the guy was a idiot. ( If I get a hold of him he won't be tearing up anybody elses car not without arms that work)
Nothing rattles. I bent the housing back as best I can. Sound waves told me they'd send it out to be repaired. Thanks JIM

Check with your insurance company. They may pick up the tab for it getting fixed or replaced, less the std deductable.

ha, a screwdriver, what a jackass!

i say, go the insurance route first, its always nice when someone other then yourself has to pick up the tab. second, see if it works with any other car, cuz it could be your car. maybe he damaged the power wires or blew the fuse somehow. if all else fails, take it in and have someone fix it.

good luck

daniel

Thanks for all the replies, I only had liability at the time so the billing is up to me , and it is a little over 2 years old. I'm going to take it to the shop where I purchaced it today and see what happens. They told me over the phone they'd have to send it to Pioneer.thanks TRNSAM87, I really appreciate your offer. If they can't fix it I'll let you know. Thanks Jim
