Car: 88 trans am, and 06 focus DOHC

Engine: 305 tpi

Transmission: 700r4

Axle/Gears: 4.56 screaming pave eating :-)

hypertech gone wrong?

ever since hyper tech chip has been in my 88 trans am 305 its been idling rough and running very rich was wondering if anyone knows what could be doing this?? oh yes the check engine light is on

Have it scanned and see what the code is. It could be possible that the hypertech tune is not right for your car either and you may have to change it back.

yea thats what im thinking but box on chip says 88 305.... im also thinking its not seating in tight or its throwing tpi system off because i took it down the road and BANG a huge backfire when i left off gas lol
