On occasion through my life I've had the same thing, and sometimes I found a short in some thing somewhere in the works. But many times, I've found nothing, and just chalked it up to static. Does everything seem to work? Have you disconnected/modded anything that might have a loose end? If not, it's just static. Mine will do it to me on occasion - especially when the humidity levels are low, like winter months. Next time I'm under mine maybe I'll hang a grounding strap underneath in the middle where it's not noticed.
There's a method of getting out of the vehicle that will prevent that during seasons when the static gets real bad. It's awkward at first, but you get used to it quickly.
When you get out of the car, put your left foot on the ground and your left hand on the top of the door (or the end if the window's up). Then you get all the way out of the car before you let go of the door. This way you're maintaining a ground on the car and the earth up until the moment you let go of the door (which is while you're closing it). I'll usually touch my wrist to edge of the doorskin so I can grab the handle with my hand which I close the door by (since I don't like fingerprints on the paint).
